Imagination: My First ‘Session Singer’ Experience

SESSION SINGER FOR ITPF SCREENPLAYS

Here’s something completely different from the other Wedding Blog posts. About one month ago I was contacted by a Screenplay writer; a lady who goes by the name of Annie G. (http://www.itpfscreenplays.co.uk). She explained how she had found our website whilst searching for professional Singers in Bristol and that she loved what she heard from the demo samples. Annie went on to explain that she would like to hire me as a Session Singer, for the purpose of recording ‘Imagination’; a song that she had written for one of her screen plays.
As my expertise is mainly as a Wedding Singer and not as a Session Singer I saw this as an excellent opportunity to experience something a little different and get my feet wet with some serious studio time!

‘Imagination’ was written by Anne G. but composed and recorded by a talented musician/ composer called Richard Speller (http://richspeller.co.uk). Richard is the owner of Rural Studios in Forest of Dean, where we spent the time recording the track.
Annie was very pleased with the final mix and I am happy to say that she would like me to work on the remaining songs for this particular project….So watch this space!
